Hi hello and welcome to my first F is for Friday post, hosted by Nomadic Worlds. I've been looking for a Friday post to include in my new weekly rotation and this one seemed like a lot of fun to participate in. With F is for Friday, you answer a few prompts that relate to your reading for the past week and even share some things that made you happy! I like the idea of having a day to talk about my favorite book related things of the week and also trying to focus on some positive things. Let's get started!

F – Feature your latest book obsession (it doesn’t have to be your current read)

I'm absolutely obsessed with the cover for Vow of Moonlight by Morgana Stewart. I have plans to start it because I do love the cover but like, the book itself sounds right up my alley. But I just find myself looking at the cover with massive heart eyes every time I open my Kindle app. Morgana Stewart hit the jackpot with this cover, I swear.
I – Indicate which book/s you are looking forward to reading this weekend
I got approved for an eARC of Looking Glass Sound by Catriona Ward and when I say I’m dropping everything to read this, I mean it. I’m obsessed with Sundial and it made me want to read everything Catriona Ward writes, so I took a chance and requested the ARC of her new book. It sounds so wonderfully weird and creepy and I cannot wait to start this as soon as possible!
F – Favorite quote of the week/day
“In those 300 years, I’ve found many treasures, but never one as priceless as you. I would bury myself with you to keep from losing you again. I would seek you a thousand times to find you again and again. I would make a map of your body with the stars and follow it for eternity.”
I loved this quote so much from On Twisting Tides by Val E. Lane that it has just been stuck in my head ever since I read it. One of my favorite things about these books is the writing, because it's just so beautiful and has numerous quotes like these that will just punch you right in the heart. This was such a sweet moment between Katrina and Milo and it gave me all of the feels and made me tear up a little bit.

F – Five Things You’re Happy Or Grateful For This Week
1. I finally have a date set for surgery to fix my herniated disc. I've been in so much pain for over a year now with no answers and I will finally be on the road to feeling better at the end of May!
2. My husband, Jamie, has been amazing with all of my doctors appointments lately. He always is, but on Thursday, I had to go back to the place I had my chemotherapy appointments at and it was traumatizing. He kept me laughing, held my hand, and then took me to Hobby Lobby and Panda Express afterwards. He's a rockstar, seriously.
3. I've been approved on Netgalley to read eARC's of some books that I'm so excited about and I'm incredibly grateful to the publishers for allowing me to read these books early. I got approved for The Haunting of Alejandra by V. Castro, Looking Glass Sound by Catriona Ward, and The Unfortunate Side Effects of Heartbreak and Magic by Breanne Randall!
4. My blog has been doing fairly well lately! I'm posting more and getting to interact with so many more bloggers and I love that I'm getting more involved in the community again. I forgot how much fun it was and I'm loving creating all of these new posts that I've been writing lately. I can't wait to continue and I hope that I actually keep up with it.
5. I just got a bunch of new yarn after my Hobby Lobby trip and I'm finally starting a new crochet cardigan that I'm really excited about! Although I think I got more than I needed so I may have enough for two cardigans. Which, that's definitely not a bad thing!

And that does it for my first F is for Friday post! This feels like a great way to help remind myself of some positives things from week to week. I struggle to remember things, let alone any good things, so I like the idea of having a weekly post to remind me of things I'm enjoying in my reading and also just some things I'm happy about in general! Do you participate in F is for Friday? What's a quote from a book that you've read or been reading this week that you can't stop thinking about? Let me know in the comments below and be sure to link me to your post if you did one this week so that I can check it out! Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you in the next chapter!
