Blogmas 2018 Day 8: End of the Year Book Tag!

8:03:00 AM

Hi hello and welcome to Blogmas 2018! I'm so excited to be doing Blogmas this year and I'm happy to share that I will be following the incredible Jenniely's prompts all month long. I highly encourage you to go check out her amazing blog and join in on the Blogmas fun! Today is day eight and I'll be doing the End of the Year Book Tag.  Let's get festive!

1. Are there any books you started this year you need to finish?
There are several books I'm currently in the middle of reading that I would really like to finish before 2018 is over! I actually just started The Cruel Prince (for some reason because I definitely don't already have books in progress) and that's one I am hoping to finish before The Wicked King comes out in January! But my other in-progress reads are Vengeful, Wicked Saints, and a beta read!

2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?
Not really. I tend to just...read whatever, whenever. The seasons don't really influence what I read, although I do enjoy reading the Lara Jean trilogy in the Summer!

3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Honestly, I've just been waiting for this to finally come out so that I can watch some reaction videos to people reading it. I've never read the books (outside of City of Bones many, many years ago) and I may in the future, but apparently this trilogy was really good and I'm just excited to see what everyone thinks of it!

4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

5. Is there a book that you think could still shock you and become your favorite?
I think that Vengeful and Wicked Saints (if I finish them) will be contenders for spots on my top five favorite books of the year, but I really don't think anything is going to top my love for Vicious.

6. Have you already made reading plans for 2019?
I know I want to focus on requesting ARC's I only truly want to read and make sure that I read and review them in a much more timely manner than I have been lately. I'd also like to reach (and hopefully surpass!) my goal of reading 24 books in 2019. Oh, and I'd like to participate in more readathons and actually finish them!

And that's it for the End of the Year Book Tag! I realize I've probably been talking about a lot of the same books recently but I'm really hoping I can finish at least one of them before the end of the month. What are some books you're hoping to finish before the end of December? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you tomorrow for another day of Blogmas!

  1. I've never heard of some of these titles so thanks for sharing them! (I have been living out of one backpack on a budget so downloadable freebies have been my only reality). Can't wait to go give these a browse.
