Giving Thanks Book Tag!

Hi hello and Happy Thanksgiving! First, be sure to go and check out the awesome artist that did the banner up there because this aesthetic is so me right this second it's not even funny! The photo links back to their YouTube channel so be sure to go watch the speed paint of this art. Now, back to book things! Today, I am going to be doing the Giving Thanks book tag which I found from Ali at HardbackHorder. Let's get started!

1. Name a book that made you thankful you live in your world and not the book's world.
1984 by George Orwell. But honestly, let's be real, we're headed that way as a world at this point, right? But this is one of my favorite books ever so I love to include it in book tags.
2. Give thanks to a book that changed your perspective.
Neverworld Waks by Marisha Pessl. I can't pinpoint exactly what about this book changed my views on life but this book hit me in ways I was not expecting and I love it so very much.
3. What character would you be thankful for if they were your significant other?
Victor Vale from Vicious. 'Nuff said.
4. What character would you say "thanks, but no thanks" to?
Eli Ever from Vicious. 'Nuff said.
5. Name a book that made you laugh out loud.
Blood Oath/Shadow Wings by Raye Wagner and Kelly St. Clare. Holy pancakes these books make me laugh so much and I cannot get over how much I love them. Ryn the soap queen owns my heart.
6. Name a book that made you incredibly angry.
Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings. Okay, hold on, because I'm not incredibly angry at this book. I have such a weird relationship with it and I think that instead of angry, I'm just disappointed. Which is always worse to hear, right? But I'm working my way up to trying to read this book again and giving it another chance so who knows, maybe my feelings will change.
7. Finally, name one thing you are thankful for about the bookish community!
So this was originally a "name one thing you are thankful for about BookTube" question but since I don't do the BookTube thing, I figured I'd just talk about the bookish community in general. This November, I had the opportunity to meet and talk to and befriend a few wonderful people thanks to NaNoWriMo! I am so far behind on my WIP and will not reach 50K but I don't even care at this point because I have met some amazing people and made some wonderful friends who I absolutely adore. If it wasn't for the bookish community, I wouldn't have had the chance to meet these people and grow new friendships, so thank you to the bookish community for existing and allowing this to happen <3
